Story Recap
- Party set out to help Master Oogway prepare for the Teratuga New Year celebrations.
- Preparations included collecting supplies and delivering materials.
- During their errands they found islands overrun by a mysterious black substance, causing damage to plant and wildlife.
- Counseling with Master Oogway led them to collect one final material before meeting Master Oogway at the source of the black substance on the island of Trenfaar.
- On the island they found many corrupted Tortles, frozen and enraged by the black substance.
- Further on the island the party had to navigate through the Trenfaar Temple, avoiding grey slime and solving puzzles.
- Eventually the party found Master Oogway performing a ritual over a tomb.
- Once complete, the ritual calmed the tomb (momentarily) giving Master Oogway time to explain some details of Master Splinter and his attempts to save his brother after some experiments with the Mistwall had gone awry.
- Master Oogway urged the party to take an escape pod and find Master Splinter and a potential cure for the sickness caused by the black substance while he kept the tomb under control.
- After a series of unfortunate events due to the party not believing their lifelong Master and Mentor, the tomb exploded revealing Master Saki, enraged and blackened and hellbent on destroying Master Oogway and all of Teratuga.
- Narrowly escaping, the party found themselves inside a dark escape pod, hurling in an unknown direction for an unknown amount of time.
- After some time, the party crash lands on a sandy beach.
- Dazed, confused and very much disarmed, the party finds themselves surrounded by Githyanki Warriors with some members starting to be dragged away
- Several party members nearly die while trying to resist. Archie is taken away, everyone else is very wounded and eventually picked up by a convoy heading to Kalimdor.
- Unfortunately the convoy was that of the nearby high prince, who having never seen a tortle before, had the party thrown in prison. Giambi however, chose to hide out in the wilderness instead.
- In a different part of the city, Smokie entered with some fresh game to sell to his butcher, only to find the butcher’s place boarded up and the butcher missing.
- He gets directed to the prison where he attempts to investigate what happened to the butcher.
- While trying to visit the prison however, he gets wrongly accused of supplying a rebellion lead by the butcher with food and is given the same proposition as the party of tortles. Help clear out the local crypts in exchange of avoiding the death penalty.
- On the way to the crypts, the party finds Giambi in the forest mistakenly burning some strong medicinal herbs that have sent him to a deranged trance.
- In the Crypts of Kodor the party faced waves of undead while finding several broken seals for Sheriff Billy to take back and repair.
- They also came across some Githyanki supposedly hunting a rogue group of Githyanki bandits.
- Deeper in the crypts the party finds the bandits dead next to a tomb and a seemingly lifeless shell of a tortle.
- With the help of some Sweet Ass Tea, Archie, while still extremely wounded did gain consciousness.
